Escape advises to run the pump ( no water in the fresh tank ) for about 30 seconds to remove any water in it. Done that for 12 years. Still have original pump.

Filling the water heater with RV antifreeze not only takes a lot of the stuff, but RV antifreeze is also hard on the anode rod and will make it erode WAY faster than with just water exposure. I bypass my water heater when winterizing and ensure that the water heater is fully drained before the nights start getting below freezing in the fall.

Great comment. I like learning new systems and taking care of and improving things. With a little luck, my new Casita provide enough fun to justify the learning/work curve.

It should! With my camper, if it weren't for the constant trouble my fridge gives me, it would be significantly less work. The fridge is 70% of my troubles.
