Boler toilet won’t quit filling

1980 Boler 17’
I think the toilet is a Monogram Toilet Model # 446 & 461
It’s been a while since this rig was fired-up.
I think there must be something sticking a bit...
The bowl water filler doesn’t cut off.
Any tips as to where to focus my troubleshooting?
Thanks
John

I had that same problem with another brand toilet. There's some sort of spring in the flush pedal that makes a seal after the flush. We just needed to let the pedal up "fast" so the spring would have a little more pep. That fixed the leakage. Worth a try first before getting into gasket repalcement.

I reckoned as much. Have had some experience with household models.
I figured this one just needs a bit of exercise - having been idle for some time.
I was just wondering how tricky it is to get at the spring should I need to.
There's a pretty complete housing around this unit (and a cramped bathroom space, to boot)
I'll keep flushing and see how it goes.

Thanks - that's a total 'good to have', but I don't think it'll get me there.
Somewhere in that ball valve assembly is likely where my issue is.
I'm going to try to hit it with some rust-b-gone and lubricant... then flush the hell outta it a whack of times.
Hopefully it'll come around. If not, I guess I'll tear 'er apart.
Likely some snot-nosed kid squirting all over the head and rusting things up.
Appreciate the steer though, friend.
