End Cap for sewer hose storage tube

I'm looking for an end cap for the stock Scamp sewer hose storage compartment. I have a new storage compartment for my much longer hose but want to use the old one for other storage.

There are so many clever ideas in those pictures.
I don't need a sewer hose, but I really liked those ideas.
And the idea just hit me, these could also be made up to
carry fishing poles in.

I have been looking at the Valterra EZ hose carriers and fittings. The brackets and ends are available from Amazon. It looks like the tubes are made out of 4" PVC drain field line. not Sch. 40, which makes them fairly light and inexpensive compared to Sch-40 PVC. I have to see what fittings are available for the thin PVC. I have used 5" PVC fence posts for hose carriers before but they are also fairly expensive.
