Portable Toilet

I just bought a Dometic 970 potable toilet for our Little Joe. Before my wife will let me take it out of the box, I need some feedback from you all as to whether there is an odor problem with a portable toilet in a small travel trailer. Other than the obvious when it is actually being used, is there an odor problem when traveling or camping, or sleeping near/with a portable toilet?

Max, it's like any discharge water in a trailer, whether gray or black or a porta pot. If it starts smelling, you're long overdue for dumping.
