I went back into my "archives". I have brochures from
Scamp dating back to the 1970's.
I can only date them by the model of cars and trucks pictured on the covers.
There was no bathroom option for the Scamp13 pictured in the brochure with the 1983 Ranger on the cover.
The next brochure pictures an early Taurus , some K-car derivative (Acclaim?)and a Chevy Pickup Circa 1988+.
It shows the bathroom as an option on the Standard Scamp13 (Toilet only)
So....Best guess? ...Sometime between late 1987 and 1992,
probably
1988 since the new brochure was likely precipitated by the changes in the options. Also this option comes on the tail of the advent of the Deluxe wood interior which was likely the first bathroom offered on a Scamp13.
Scamp history is not easy nor is it possible to be exactly accurate since changes occur when they occur, not necessarily tied to model year.
It could actually be earlier, but not likely earlier than 1987 or very late 1986. Brochure changes usually lag actual changes.
