I noticed my 2004 5th wheel was leaking underneath at the shower drain trap last
fall when winterizing the camper. No biggy, dripping on the garage floor and you would never noticed it at the campgrounds and never use the shower drain anyway, but I always fix things when there is a problem. Ordered some stuff this week from
scamp before campin season and a new trap also for 6 bucks. Went to put it in today and they never routed out the floor underneath to accept the trap as the full floor thickness did not allow the inside part of the drain to screw into the trap! There was no threads protruding past the floor thickness. So they just siliconed the trap to the underside of the wood floor! I got the dremel router out and routed the opening underneath to allow the drain to go up into the floor. There are actually 3 stops on the trap for this to set properly against the floor bottom. Either a new guy that day or Friday maybe.
