Shower drain pump replacement in 2018 Scamp 13’

Looks like the pump which is mounted underneath the front passenger side got hit and is not working. I see where someone installed a sort of skid plate to protect it. Great idea. As for the replacement model it looks like Scamp only sells the Seaflo 33 now? I can find both that and the Sureflo revolution on Amazon but was wondering if anyone has recommendations for one over the other? Also is there another model that is a lower profile that we should look at?
Thanks

you don't need a "lower profile" pump.
What you need is to relocate the pump.
Move it over to the floor under the toilet. I did mine many years ago and added a small skid plate as well.

Update on smaller shower pump

FWIW, we went with a smaller, lighter weight and lower profile pump for the shower pan, and now that I have used it a few times I can say that it works fine.
We also relocated it to a safer spot that is less likely to get bumped if we go on uneven ground.
Here is the pump we used, a 1.2 gpm model Seaflo.

Cheers!

Great price! Nice size and it looks like it would be perfect for a trailer with no shower if you were replacing a hand pump faucet wit a regular faucet!
