It appears that I now have a leak somewhere in the toilet system. I will post a picture ASAP of my setup for ideas. The black water tank is leaking onto the carpet directly in front of the carpet. Any Ideas how to troubleshoot this problem. I've worked with conventional home toilets in the past, but am new to dismantling and repairing/replacing something like this.

Hi D! is it the Tank that is leaking or the seal between the tank and Toilet. If it is the tank they do make a sealing epoxy for repairing cracks check with your local RV/boat place. When the ball failed in mine i took it to RV place to have it fixed under warranty so I am not sure how it connects to the tank good hunting

Doug, your profile doesn't say what year Scamp...and if you've said, I can't remember. Anyway, there's one toilet manual in the Document Center. If you give us more info, perhaps someone on the forum can provide a manual that may give you some tips on repair. For instance, I have the manual for the Traveler 911-28...I just haven't gotten around to preparing it for the Document Center...this might be the push that I need.

Doug.

Inspect the toilet carefully to determine where the leak is coming from (before taking it apart). Don't forget to look where the water supply comes into the toilet (anti-siphon device can be susceptible to freeze damage). The black tanks in Casitas (Scamps too?) are fiberglas and if leaking, you should be able to see a crack if you look carefully. If the water is definitely coming from the base of the toilet, I would go ahead and replace the gasket between the tank and the toilet.

Thanks for all of the info. I have a 98 scamp13. I will check this out this weekend.
