Waste Water Valve Problem

The black water valve on my 1980 Scamp was leaking around the valve (bolts). I decided to replace the valve, and put an extension on the line so I could better operate the valve handle. The four bolts holding the valve on were totally rusted shut. I ground down the bolt heads which go in from the bottom of the valve. This enabled me to remove the valve and seals. HOWEVER, the bolts are still connected to the rusted nuts at the top of the square piece that is connected to the toilet. I can't remove them from the top, because they are just below the floor board. I tried hacksawing them off, but the space is too limited. Any suggestions of how I can remove those bolts?
Appreciate any responses.

Can you drill the heads off using a drill bit a little larger than the bolt shank diameter?

The heads are already ground off. The upper ends are holding the bolts by the nuts, which are rusted shut. I suppose I could drill up through the bolt holes, but the difficulty is not grinding away the PVC that surrounds the bolts.

I have a photo, but nothing happens when I click on "manage attachments."

I'm having trouble visualizing this.

When you click manage attachments you should get a box that lets you choose a file from your hard drive.

Maybe try a different browser - Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer??

OK, so you need to cut off the nut that is on the top side of the flange in the photo?

Maybe one of these with a cut off wheel: 120 Volt 3" High Speed Cut-Off Tool

Heavy Duty 4-1/2" Angle Grinder

Or use this with a brand name (not HF) metal cutting blade: Multifunction Oscillating Power Tool - 1.6 Amp, 120 Volt

Another less desirable option would be to notch the corners of the plastic flange so the bolts come out. The mating piece will position the new bolts.

Is the discharge pipe threaded into the bottom of the tank? If it is with the valve body removed you might be able to unscrew the pipe from the tank and replumb. (I'm not sure how the discharge pipe is attached to the tank.)
Eddie
Looks like it is threaded in. Check out this link.

Great! As a guy, I'd never have thought of reading the manual.
