Water Heater valve

I have an Atwood 6 gallon water heater in my 2010 Scamp 16 Deluxe. I would like to replace the drain plug with a drain valve. It is my understanding the valve should be plastic rather than metal to avoid corrosion to the tank. Would anyone be able to advise me on where to obtain a water heater drain valve?

A valve will make it harder to flush out any sediment, where pulling the plug makes for a larger opening.

Just use a PLASTIC nipple and a ball valve.

How would a drain valve fit? My Atwood plug is behind the gas line. There is almost no room to get a socket on it for removal. Frustrating when winterizing.
