I got on this forum 11 years ago and found this 1972 PlayPac that I bought and restored. It was in horrible shape... and I pretty much had to strip it down and start from scratch. The camper grew a personality of its own... and I felt that somehow it knew it had been rescued. I got 10 great years of heavy camping out of it... including dozens of music festivals and several cross country trips!
Sadly... life rolls on and I realize that my camping preferences have changed. As a result... the camper has been sitting under a shed unused and under appreciated for over a year.
It is in very good shape for 53 years old! It just needs some general maintenance and cosmetic touch ups to get it "campable" again. Or it could be an awesome platform to trick out and customize. Most of all... it just needs a little TLC.
