You've done nice work on this one. And it has a lot of the options.

To below, endless belly band threads already. I don't think a belly band on the 4500 is any different than the 1300, except for the wood on the rear where the table mounts. David Tilston has a very nice write up on his belly band repairs. I followed his pretty closely. I used a flap sander disk on a side grinder instead of a Dremel. Notice David smoked his Dremel, I'm not surprised as it is more of a heavy duty job.

David Tilston and Randy Bishop are two that have refurbished several Trilliums. My guess is Randy has probably done at least ten of them. So on any topic, I search for their threads first.

Could you please describe how you fiberglassed the belly band. I have a '79 4500 and would like to do that to mine. BTW, I was born and raised in Cheektowaga, graduated from Amherst in '52.. We live in Eagle Idaho. Paul
