1985 ATLA CT13 UHaul

1985 U haul Camper. It's in good shape for its age. Has three way working fridge, gas range and OEM cushions, including the bunk bed. The water was never hooked up but I am guessing that it doesn't work due to not having a grey tank. There is not bathroom. This is a 10 foot shell on a 13 foot trailer. The floor was replaced a few years ago and the cabinet fronts are not OEM but they are cool though. The roof AC was removed and an AC box was put in the front bought it this way . I am selling it because we simply out grew it.

U-Haul had these for rent back in the 50's. Some were made in Canada and I think they were Bolar's because of the half shell configuration. Most Egg campers like Trillium and Scamp are made with horizontal 1/2 shells. Not sure if they were still making them in 1985. Looks to be in good shape, the floors in most of them rotted out because they were unprotected underneath.

That's incorrect info, we had a '84 CT13 and did a lot of research on them. They were made from 84 to 86 at a few different factories in the USA. Supposedly made using modified Burro molds as the Burro interior is almost identical. and the exterior shell slightly different at the tail light area. They were not for rent in the 50's as they weren't manufactured until the 80's. I had a Uhaul rental catalog from 1985 and they were in it. The side windows needed attention to keep them from leaking. The floor in ours was good, just needed to update the electrical system. Like all fiberglass campers the prices have gone way up in the last couple years. Sold ours for 6600 4 years ago, should have held on to it longer if they are selling for what asking prices are now.

There is a article from a Dayton newspaper in the Document Center about how production was started there in Dayton. The trailers were going to be manufactured in several other facilities in the USA, a plant in Atlanta was one of the locations to build the campers. I don't remember the actual name of that company. Our Uhaul did not have a manufacturer ID plate so don't know where it was made.
