More pictures

I thought y'all would like some pictures from the inside that I took this morning.

I forgot to take a picture of the steps into the lofted bedroom that open up for storage; we usually put our shoes under the steps because it's close to the door.

window coverings

We have been using a window covering that is like a roll up shade shown in this picture. You can also see the new LED lights just above the window shade.

Gladys is 33 years young and a Classic

I talked with the President of Bigfoot some years back and there are no records of how many fivers they produced. Apparently, there was a fire at the factory and many of the records from that period were lost.

You'll find some Bigfoot fifth wheels with a single axle and a few more with the double axle, like Gladys. We believe that the double axle configuration is more stable and tows nicely.

We were planning on some regular maintenance items like freshening up the interior paint and things like a wash and wax that's due for this camping season. We've had some family issues that prevented those things from being completed on a normal schedule but those items will still be done this summer if she stays around long enough for us to attend to them.

Hi,

Can you please tell me what the height is in the main living area? I'm 6'4" and have heard that the dual axle version may be shorter.

Also, do you have the dinette table for this camper?

Thank you!

Paul

Inside height

Paul: thank you for your question. The generous inside height of the Bigfoot brand is one of the reasons we selected this camper as our RV. I am 6'3" and have never had any problems.

I've measured the lowest point inside Gladys, inside the wet bath on the raised portion of the shower pan at 74". The main living cabin measures 77".

We have a small folding table that came with the RV that we have used when inside that is usually stored under the dinette seating. Thank you again for your question. I hope this helps in your search.

12V system issues resolved

Turns out the 12V system issue was a line fuse from the battery. Once I replaced that fuse all the new LED lights work very nicely from the battery system.

We did the same thing with our rig. A few times. Every time we put it up for sale, I take new pics and fall in love with it all over again.
Enjoy!

For Sale Again-Price Reduced!

Gladys is for sale again. We have reduced the price to $12,000 since we have put money down on a new Grand Design camper. Since we're going to have a new camper we will be keeping the totes with the water and sewer equipment.
