I bought this
Escape 21C trailer Canadian, ETI in July of 2022 to see if the floorplan and other characteristics of the 21C fit my needs. This has been a near perfect trailer from a design, livability, durability and towing characteristics point of view for me. I now know what options are and are not important to me and want to move on to a newer model of the 21C.
The trailer has 5 new Carlisle Radial Trail HD ST205/75R15 D/8PLY
tires and a fresh brake/axle service.
The
title is free and clear.
This was close to a fully loaded trailer when new.

Before I bought it, the trailer had collided with a tree or something similar on the driver s side front top corner and cracked the shell which had been repaired by a
fiberglass autobody shop. This did not warrant a salvage
title. There have been no issues associated with this accident that have negatively affected the functionality i.e.,
leaks, cabinets, etc. .
The door/drawer hinges and friction locks are in good working order. I have upgraded and replaced various components while owning the trailer. As a result, a lot of potential concerns with a trailer this age have been rectified.
9/24 replaced both dump valves
8/24 replaced and reinforced the tongue
9/23 replaced the rear
axle due to excessive outside tire wear on the driver s side this may have been a pre existing condition
5/23 amp; 6/23 replaced the 2 6V batteries with Duracells, 235 amp/hr
4/23 replaced the failed original
refrigerator with a Norcold 4150 the only available one that would fit through the door and fit the opening
6/23 new Timken bearings, serviced at 10,000 mile intervals thereafter.
All major systems work as intended. The tank monitors are unreliable, of course, and the upper driver s side rear LED
light bank does not work. Otherwise, it is in quite good condition with normal cosmetic wear and tear you would expect given the age and maintenance.
