For Sale is a 2014 Scamp 16. Our family has grown and it's a bit tight for 5 of us so I've decided to hopefully send this to a good new owner.

I bought this in 2018 , Since then I've camped in this in all seasons with the family for the last 5 years and it's been a great reliable camper.

• Heat works great, heats up in minutes

  • 4" memory foam topper cut for Scamp Queen Mattress this makes a HUGE Difference in sleep quality

  • 7 pin connector w/ wiring harness for Towing vehicle
  • Trailer ball and hitch in reverse hitch on the rise great for smaller SUV's

Odd question.. Is the bottom bunk, which sits on something that has storage, part of the fiberglass build/frame or is it some other material?

We're a couple in our 70s and may need to do a few minor modifications....

Hey there Stephanie. I believe the bottom bunk/couch sits on a fiberglass buildout which forms the storage area. hope that helps!
The camper is down the road where i keep it and I don't have any pics of that specific area however if you are interested I'm happy to run down there and send any pictures you'd like.

I found a picture i had that helps a little. I'll try to upload to the original post.
It is all fiberglass and is part of the fiberglass build. its also part of the bathroom wall that is adjacent to it. you can see in the pic, lower left corner just under the couch cushion where it meets with the vertical bathroom wall.

Thanks for the info Mike. Do you happen to know the height of the base? Even approximate would be helpful. We're going to check in with our camper service person to see what they think. We love the scamp, but unless we can make the mods work for us, I'm not quite sure what we'd do. However, let's "assume" the best....

i'm guessing around 16" for that couch height off the floor. i will definitely confirm for you with a real measurement and some pics of the area. You can also direct message me and i can email you specific info
