Accommodates five people? (Sorry, I'm envisioning the Barnum & Bailey Circus "clown car" here.) I don't know how you possibly manage to "shoe horn" 5 people into a 17' SD? We've have had our 17" SD for fourteen years, (2008,) (and yes, we still love it,) but there's only my wife and I, and we don't even travel with a pet! It's a perfect 1 or 2 person trailer, but I can't imagine how you can arrange it to accommodate five of you in it. For us anyway, with just the two of us and a full-time rear bed, as well as the side dinette to eat at, that is a full trailer. Just curious as to where you put everybody?

I'm guessing 5 people means a couple kids.

We have a 13er and fit 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) and a dog. It is tight, and will get tighter as the kids get a little older.

We are currently looking for this exact layout as an upgrade (side dinette, bunks) in either a scamp or casita.
