Definitely not. I would expect a loaded gross weight in the 2600-2800# range with a tongue weight iaround 275-300#. A 3500/350# tow-rated crossover is the bare minimum, but 5000/500# is better if your travels include high altitude mountain towing, or if you'll be carrying extra people or cargo in the vehicle. Mid-sized crossovers in the Explorer/Highlander/Pilot class fit the bill nicely. I recommend AWD for towing, because the tongue weight will reduce traction on a FWD-only vehicle. It's not usually a problem on pavement, but in a campground it could be.

Jon, thank you for the information. Unfortunately, we do not have an awd vehicle yet, but are looking to purchase one. Pat

Hi Bill & Pat! On the right side of the ad you can see something that says "message seller" - please send me a direct message that way as I am not allowed to post a phone number here. Thanks! Liz & John
