We currently don't own any RV, but I have owned two 16' Casitas previously and loved them. We want to stay in a similar weight category 2400 2800 dry weight .

Just realize that the Independence layout is only available in the 17’ length, which typically runs 3000-3200# with 400-425# hitch weight. If you can manage the extra weight, it incorporates numerous improvements over the now discontinued.16’ model, including a large sliding rear window, flat entry door with screen door, flat floor, more overhead cabinets and increased headroom.

If not, you can look for a used 16’ Liberty and enlarge the narrow twins to create something similar to the Independence.

I can’t think of anything in that size & weight range that has a partial walk around bed. I assume you mean something like a corner bed?

My parents have a one yr old 17 deluxe with all extras and casita real matreesses that have been used for 4 nights only. There age makes it difficult to get around so they are about to sell.
