Prodigy P2 and Haul Gauge Better Weight module.

The Prodigy is complete with all components. Haul Gauge, now owned by Curt and rebranded as Better Weight, plugs into the TV s OBD2 port and together with a smart phone gives the weight of the vehicle, trailer, cargo / payload, tongue weight, pin weight, weight distribution and trailer brake gain. 100 plus 10 shipping.

Weight Module?

I would have to see it to believe it.
I doubt that any gadget like that could give an accurate weight of the TV and Trailer.
Ya gotta put it on a calibrated platform scale, or individual wheel scales, to get accurate results,

Actually it doesn't do too bad of a job. Bear in mind that the scale of the readout on a smart phone is large and doesn't compare to actual scale readings. For general purposes it's good. Note with the sales price it's a give-away as you are paying for the Prodigy brake controller.

Looke it up, got an idea of how it is supposed to work. Involves a lot of physics and mathematics. Claims to have only 5% accuracy. That is not good enough.
Good scales should be accurate to within 1% or less.

5% of 3000 lb is 150 lb, and that's plus or minus. your reading can have a 300 lb range.
Stick to scales.
