2017 Scamp Scamp 13 Layout 2 Standard

We are selling our 2017 Scamp 13', layout 2, with the big bed option. The "big bed"is only available in the 13' standard or deluxe and the 16' deluxe. It is a 54" bed, as opposed to the standard 46" width. This has been a non smoker unit since new.

It has a front wet bath, with a shower and toilet, fresh water tank, black water tank, and grey water tank.

It originally had no propane or propane connections so no fridge, no stove and no furnace. The electric heat strips located in the AC unit are used for heating. Propane has since been added, and connected to the water heater with stub out for stove, heater and/or refrigerator.

It has all other standard options for that model and has the following additional factory options installed:
  • Blue fabric cushions
  • Gas / electric water heater
  • Group 27 battery upgrade
  • 13,500 BTU AC with heat strips
  • A 12v dome light under each of the side cabinets
  • Extra 120v outlet on back side of the closet
  • Exterior GFI 120v outlet
  • 19" TV/DVD 12v combo, with cable hookup and mounted antenna with power booster
  • Three speed remote controlled MaxxAir fan
  • Vinyl floor
  • Backsplash
  • Electric brakes
  • 8' Fiamma crank out awning
Changes /additions include:

Installed by Scamp factory in 2019

  • Addition of propane connection for the water heater with stub out for stove, heater and/or refrigerator, but only connected to water heater ;
  • 2" receiver added to rear bumper ;
  • Toilet and black water tank added. This unit was originally sold without the toilet ;
  • 2 cabinet doors enlarged to provide better access ;
  • Added a light just inside front door ;
Installed by others

  • Addition of two 12 volt plugs in the kitchen, in front of the sink;
  • All bulbs have been replaced with LEDs;
  • Added two collapsible cup holders that will hold a full size Yeti;
  • 3 1/2" body lift kit purchased from the axle manufacturer;
  • Mounted a shelf over the bed, between the two side cabinets for blanket storage shelf is removable ;
  • Added removable shelving and bins in large storage cabinets near front door;
  • Added peg board organizer to shelf support between kitchen and dinette/bed.
We'll also be including:
  • Like new custom Calmark cover.
  • Like new red retro look counter top microwave,
  • Custom made curtains.
Contact us with any questions.

This trailer is ready to roll with a clear title in hand. This one is used, but like new,and not only eliminates the 18 month wait time for a new one, it also reduces the cost as compared to ordering new. Additionally, this one has some options not available from the factory, like the lift kit.

The price is 14,500 firm and we are located in the Atlanta, GA area. We prefer potential buyers arrange to see this unit before we entertain offers to purchase. We also prefer cash at point of sale.

Hi,
I’m interested in the camper but need to know the dry and gross weight to see if my Rav 4 can pull it. Please advise me. We are up in PA but not opposed to taking the drive. It’s what we’ve been looking for
Thx
Bruce

Bruce, you can expect an unloaded weight around 1400# for this front bath model, with a loaded towing weight around 1750-1800#. I would recommend a minimum tow rating of 2000#.

It is a kit that includes 2 metal spacers which are placed between the frame and the axle to increase the ground clearance of the body by 3 and 1/2". Since this also increased the clearance around the tires, I tried changing the tires to 15", but found the clearance was not sufficient on the door side of the body. It would only require minor modification but, I was not willing to take that extra step and stayed with the 14".
