Eriba Puck - Minnesota

1969 Eriba Puck refurbished inside and out. I bought the puck August 2015 from upstate New York and had it trailered to Minnesota. Used the camper twice and decided to go all in on restoring it. Tore it down to the metal frame carefully removing each part that would later be used to reassemble the trailer. Wood floor was replaced with new wood that was treated with rot doctor clear penetrating epoxy sealer and finished with a coat of marine grade paint. Metal frame was stripped to remove rust and resprayed grey matching the new wood floor. The fiberglass roof was removed and resprayed at a local body shop. Each aluminum panel that was originally on the puck was removed and used as a template for new aluminum. New coat of white paint on the steel rims and fresh rubber was added at that time and the bearings were repacked. Upon reassembly all new seals for the doors, windows, and red trim were secured from Germany that match the exact profile of the originals. All of the interior walls and ceiling were reupholstered. In addition, I had the upholsterer make a new orange pop up. I installed a 30amp shore power twist lock to the unit to power the interior receptacle. Installed a progressive dynamics converter/fuse panel and added a group 24 12v battery to run the lights should shore power not be present. The four lights in the unit work as they should although only 1 is original. Water is delivered via the 5 gal tank stored in the front of the unit and the Valterra Rocket Hand Pump. I sourced the correct ice box and painted it to match the stove and sink. 2 burner stove works as it should. All of the interior cushions and curtains have been replaced. All of the interior trim on the table/benches was replaced with new. Door latch and lock are original to the unit and they work as intended. The 4 stabilizers are present and spring back into place after use and the 4 retaining clips are present too. Onboard gas bottle original to the unit has been been tested and re certified currently half full. Included in the sale is a Westfalia tent meant for vans but worked great whit the puck tent that connects via the rain gutter on the Puck. The tent more than doubles the living space and makes a great storage area for coolers, bikes, and sun shade. There are some minor blemishes from use but would look great behind a VW bus. Please let me know if you have any questions

Nice work! Curious- what is the patch or cover just forward of the entry door?

I'd ever noticed that before on other vintage Pucks. Thx, and best wishes with your sale!
