I replaced the old Lyster door lock on my boler. For anyone who wants it and is willing to pay shipping, I am offering it for free. It's not in the greatest of shape. The outside handle broke and was "repaired" by pop riveting a metal plate to the handle by a previous owner. It was working fine until some kids broke into the garage the trailer was in and tried to force the door. They popped out one of the rivets. It is repairable if you want. The other issue is the post used to lock the door from the inside is missing. It could be used for parts if you have another one that has other issues. I have 3 keys for the lock.
Alex, I just found this thread. Thank you again for giving me your Lyster lock. As I mentioned to you, I just needed the inside door handle. The original inside door handle on the Lyster lock in my Boler 17 had been mangled (sawed off) by a PO, and yours was a perfect match replacement. Took a couple of minutes to swap it out.
I was lucky and got a Bargman L-400 at a decent (still expensive) price. I have a thread of the fixes I have been doing with pictures of the new lock being put in.
