We are go with new fuse link for twelve volt usage while traveling. We had a surge and now have surge protection. I cost us as the furnace, fridge and more had to be fixed.

My fuse holder was also melted shut. I replaced the holder and the 10 amp fuse. Working well now.

Do you have the original fridge and is it a Dometic RM 382 3 way? If it is what size is the fuse inside the fridge for the 12 volt fridge usage. Can not open my unit as it is welded to the blown fuse. Want to cut wire and replace holder and fuse but want to protect the fridge.
