Hi Jimbo, That's a little silverware drawer, and I mean little! I bought three different silverware trays and none of them fit inside...too high. Somewhere on the forum a fellow rebuilt the drawer so it was large enough to fit a standard tray. Maybe some day down the road I'll do the same.

Hello, i was looking through your pictures, nice little scamp. I just purchased a 1980 yesterday. I noticed you have a little cabinet door on the front of your stove. Does it open, does it hold spices or anything.
