It was slightly scary, that wind! I have a 27 year old retiree do-it-all appaloosa, and did eventing, dressage, games, tons of trail riding...he has also had an illustrious polocrosse career with the pony club kids. I also had a young TB for dressage and eventing until I finally burned out after 25 years of spending all my free time and money on horse stuff. I am really enjoying my second hobby "career" now doing photography, hiking, camping, etc.

hi jen-glad you didnt end up in the river with that kayak and the car! what kind of horses? my favs are 1/4 horses. i was hunter/jumper, then dressage, then lyme got me so i try to find very short, wide, bomb-proof senior citizens now.
