Remember the Beatles song....She came in through the bathr...camper window....... only while under repair please.
Ill use Epoxi resin and glass to add strips of plywood to reinforce the door core.
Marine tex is what I hope will add strength where I kirfed out the composit arround frame to relieve the wrong flex of the door.
Holding door in best position and pushed in to add structure to the inside of the outer skin from the inside of the camper. I had to use front window...
With the composit damaged at the bottom of the door, water entered and damaged the plywood perimiter of door. It was mush. Even the smallest crack...
Ureka! with both hinges removed the door lined up good closing the worst fit at the bottom. Time to have the machine shop put new spiral roll pins in...
Interior skin removed and kirfed poured composit, hinges off, and 2 straps and shim blocks arround the outside of camper latter the door fits good.
1975 hinges seem to be a thing of the past compared to the 1980 s builds. Anyone else have hinges like these?
