Hi there, I'm a Scamp owner and love it. I hope you have a get experience. It takes time to learn all the fundamentals of trailer camping. There are lots of helpful folks on this site.I have owned my 13' Deluxe since 2012 and only just found out that everything works just fine with out a battery. I just plug into electric at Thousand Trails Campgrounds.
