Hi Andrew. I'm on this site almost daily and for some reason your message just popped up. It's dated 03-08-2021. I hope that's wrong and you haven't been waiting that long for a reply.

Anyway, I hope you got your Cadet and that you've sorted out your towing by now. I tow with Jeeps but the principles are the same. These things are so light but I'd go with a Class III frame mounted hitch. I think any good trailer and/or hitch shop should give you good advice and have what you need.

If you didn't get that Cadet, there's one for sale up in Keswick (Woodbine and Glenwoods area). I don't know the price but it looks complete. No doubt it would need a thorough going over though. Mine is a project trailer. I'm currently building a new frame for it and upsizing the wheels to ones from a Jeep. Lots of work but lots of fun too.

Sorry if this message comes late!

    Stew

    Hello PCO6.

I just joined this group as I'm thinking about buying a 1986 Cadet. I noticed in your profile that you have one and you're not too far away. I'm in Markham.

I would appreciate any tips. I'm hoping I can tow it with my 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan.

    All the best,
    Andrew in Markham
