Description:

Dometic fridge drip pan. Dometic routes their drain hoses out the bottom of the compartment or out the vent on the side. Norcold uses a drip pan that the water drains into and then evaporates out of, similar to your home fridge. I used some 3M high strength tape to secure this aluminum container and put the hose in it to drain. I do intend to find a better container eventually but this will suffice for the time being, better than water running down the side of the RV.

Hi Charles, I own a 25B21RB build date December 2008 and sat in North Nevada dealer showroom till first owner purchase in January 2010. It’s the same year and model as yours. Oddly, I see from your picture that your refrigerator is set in a few inches further than mine.
QUESTION: do you find rain water frequently inside on the compartment floor where you have your evaporation tray. I have sealed off the refrig access door with taped plastic sheeting and rain water still gets in. The water pools in an area from the refrig compartment opening back to a foam rubber molding about 3/4 inches high that is glued to the compartment floor from right to left. This molding is the sole barrier to prevent water into the Bigfoot living compartment.
I am about to remove and inspect the refrig roof vent area looking for rain leak potential.
Do you have any suggestions or comments?

Darryl. While I have not found water standing in the fridge compartment, I am wondering if some gets in as I can wipe it clean and new looking, and next time I look it is all dirty again.

The trailer has been under cover outside as I am in a situation where I have a cheapie trailer in the shop I need to get busy and finish woodwork on and get rid of it. The cover has deteroiated and I need to get another one or put up an RV carport.
