We did instal an Air Conditioner because we're leaving for nine months and will be traveling cross country next July with potential for hot weather. I've tested our setup (no hole thru the fiberglass) and it seems to work well.

We have the fridge, bathroom with toilet and shower, a inside air conditioner (located in the bottom of the hanging closet. We have added an over the couch near the bathroom sweater and hanging closet. Added 5 drawers, and overhead storage above the dinette. We also have added a rear bumper box, a converter and a 1200 watt Inverter. About to add a screen door. You can see most of these in Modifications, Preparing a Scamp 16. Our loaded for travel weight is 2400 lbs including a hitch weight of about 200 lbs.

I'm for ever in Home Depot, it seems daily. I would also say I really like the 1700, went in one at the Prince Edward Island Rally.

Dave Cummins's son married my daughter. His wife's name is Linda and he works as an order guy in Home Depot - daytime, I think. We were just up there for Christmas with them.
