Hi Norm,
I'm interested in receiving your notes on Newfoundland when you are finished updating. We don't have a trip to that area planned yet, but I've often thought it would be an interesting place to visit. And your description of it confirms that to me. Thanks for your willingness to share.

I'm very interested in your material on Newfoundland we went once from the west coast renting a car there but would love to take the trailer for 2 or 3 months when it is safer to travel out of province. Cheers John T
Hello,. My plan was to spend this summer in Newfoundland. But along came the virus. I'm staying put in Colorado, until hopefully next summer when I am able to visit Newfoundland and the NE. Please send any information you can. I really appreciate it. If there is a fee let me know. I'm going to look that book you recommended up now. Thank You, John Cochran. cjohnwine.44@gmail.com. 970 310-8006
Hi Norm and Ginny, I am sorry if I am being a bother, I am not very good at internet or forums and seem to have "lost "you and am trying to find any way to connect with you. I am not a stalker or anything like that. I was interested in the NL trip and since I have been in Tucson in Jan I have not had any contact. i went on the forum and found the old posts and they end in Jan. Is there a place I can update myself? Thank-you! Barb
Hi,
I have been following your posts for the last couple of years and we seem to have a
lot in common. My wife and I were camping and hiking along the Kancamagus Hwy.
last week; your neck of the woods ? I recently retired and my wife works 2 days/wk.. Perhaps our paths will cross someday. We live near Ottawa, Ontario and visit New Hampshire 2-4 times /year.
Cheers

re: Towing mirrors.. Well I stumbled on a used set of McKesh mirrors (with convex add-on) for $85 used! So I got them and now I am ready for anything ; ) And just today I got my pick up date of Sept 25.. A Scamping I will (finally) go!
Hey there Norm;
Wanted to update you on our 2015 Odyssey trip. We drove and camped over 11,000 miles coast to coast. The trip averaged 24.8 mpg pulling our 2500 lb. Aliner. Best non towing mileage was 39! Of course our fuel bill was the most costly item of the trip but I couldn't have been happier about the mpg. The Honda did fine through ice, rain and snow. We bought tire chains at one point but never had to use them. All in all a comfortable auto to drive. A few nerve wracking days spent escaping ice storms, blizzards and 80 plus mph winds in N. Oregon, I drove way longer than planned, sometimes 14 hrs. Still was pleasantly surprised at how decent I felt after such a long period behind the wheel. Of course we take breaks for the dogs every 3-4 hours...We are now looking at fiberglass trailers. Wish there was a 19' without the fifth wheel, as we don't want to drive a big truck just to pull a camper. May have to settle for a 15-16 footer Casita or Parkliner.
Happy Trails.
Hi Folks, I begin fulltiming this spring in a new Scamp 16. The frequent comments you've posted on the FGRV Forum have been very useful to me. Many thanks for sharing your experience . I just joined the Escapees club after reading your comment on the forum. Mail forwarding will be important. Since you don't spend the entire year "out there" I imagine you have not established a domicile. Can you comment on any of the other many services provided by SKP? Have you stayed at any of their affiliated RV Parks? Thanks again and happy travels,
Bill Sellen
