Hey Dave - I too tow with a Highlander, 2014. I use common rubber strap extension mirrors. Big trouble is that mirror will release and slap up against the driver’s window when buffeted by an oncoming semi truck. Toyota says there is no way to adjust / tighten the torque on the mirror mount pivot.
Do you have this problem?

I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the offer. I'm hoping to retire in 2024 and have a trip planned to Muncie, IN to visit the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) headquarters and maybe on to the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, WI. I believe you would make a good stopover.
Hi, I saw your post about weighing your trailer. I have a 2010 Escape 19 too! Just curious if you would mind sharing the results of your weighing? I realize there are lots of variables at play, but it would be nice to see some actual weights on the same year/model of trailer once it's loaded up. Since I'm in So Cal and still work full-time, getting the trailer weighed is a bit of a hastle. Thank you!
