That sounds surprizingly low. I assume it is PMW and not MPPT, as my MPPT cost me at least 10 times that, though works great.

Yep, PWM but a good starter controller.

I picked up their 100w suitcase panel (with waterproof PWM controller) early this summer and it has been great. I only bother putting it out if we are in one location for more than a few days. It kept us operating through a week in one spot, and did this a few times. We haven't stayed more than a week in one spot, and so the TV charges it all back up when we move.

I'm using the same controller on my, new to me Escape 19, with 180w panel, I am just waiting for a couple of mounts to be made then I will install the panel. I have installed the controller, flush mounted, and really like the look of it in the trailer. On my last ca,per I used the Solar 30 controller with 2 X 50w panels and was very happy.

I have 2 of these. Amazon had them even cheaper on there 3 day sale a few weeks ago. At the same time they had this controller, 100 watt compact panel, 10 guage cables and mounting feet for under $140.00. I had my son in law buy one for his pop up.
They have worked very well for me. I use 1 with the 100 watt panel I have mounted on my truck camper shell supplying a group 27 deep cycle. The other to a portable 100 watt to supply the group 29 deep cycle on my Scamp. I followed what someone else did here and put suction cup feet on the portable panel so that I can set it on the Scamp without scratching when the sight has little shade.
