Replaced old dark carpet with Pergo oak flooring. Original carpet still in head closet and dinette area to remind of how ugly it was (plus is WAS the original)
Replacing contact paper-covered pressboard cabinet doors with old-growth redwood panels
Heater had been ripped out, so hole has been converted to utility/storage cupboards (power cable etc.), accessible from the outside as well as inside. Doors, instead of opening outward, are now oak tambour rollers, with redwood trim.
|Entry corner, where evidently a dog chain wore away all gelcoat down to raw fiberglass, was covered over with same oak tambour/redwood trim.
Original upholstery in dinette, new curtains
Exterior
No modifications to body other than exterior utility door & new door hinges

AWNING: Kermit came with an awning rail but no awning. Current curved awning is an ON-GOING PROJECT to design one that does not require poles with guy-ropes. Current 'prototype' is a bed sheet & fiberglass tent rods, anchored in L-shaped PVC corners connected with a cord (the tension is OUTward). Last trip sandbags worked well to eliminate upward movement (wind lifts the curve). Photos coming soon
