Frame off renovation.
Two-tone paint; white "machinery" enamel on top, red Durabak on bottom.
Sandblasted and powder-coated frame, axle and wheels. New shocks, propane tank, onboard battery and hitch jack.
Exterior
Completely gutted interior. High pressure was used to remove old glues, dirt and mildew. Original subfloor was repaired as needed, and a new top layer of plywood was installed.
Entire interior then coated with 2-part epoxy paint. "Reflectix" insulation throughout, covered with heavy-duty upholstery fabric. New "Marmoleum" flooring tiles.
All new cabinetry, electrical wiring, and plumbing was installed. These old Campsters did not originally have onboard 12V power, but I've fixed that.
New appliances, sink and spout. New water tank and 12V pump. 120V to 12V converter/charger installed. Five LED cabin lighting fixtures. Galvanized galley backsplash/hood.
Refurbished pop-top, with new hardware and zippered windows.
