Roughing it
Just picked it up Just picked it up What it looks like now
History Bought this in August of 2009 from 2nd owner. Had been sitting under a tree for a while & looked pretty dirty. Took it to a car wash & it cleaned up pretty well, then took it to a local Dodge dealership & had it buffed & waxed, it looked like new but needed some graphics. Luckily I own a sign company so we decided on a lighthouse theme and some striping.
Interior
Driveway camping
Added a 7' Carefree of Colorado awning (very nice & highly recommended) & track rail, installed it myself. Bought a Fantastic Fan 6600R 14 speed w/ rain sensor & remote, a Winegard Sensar II tv antenna but haven't installed those yet, kind of nervous about cutting a big hole in the roof! Added a hitch receiver to the back bumper for a bicycle rack & an umbrella table that slides into the receiver. Came up with the "Short, Short Trailer" name because we are from Lucille Ball's hometown & I do some work for the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Center in Jamestown, NY. Did the trailer graphics myself since there was nothing on the trailer when we bought it.

Exterior
We decided on a lighthouse theme for the trailer so there is a bit of that on the inside & out. Also added a small microwave to the top of the closet area. Had new curtains made, & added some outlets since there was only one. Will add some interior pictures when I get a chance to take them.

Customization
Added an under cabinet AM/FM cd clock radio, then had a bracket made for the front window area to support a 32" flat screen tv. Added a dvd player with surround sound system & satellite radio, what a difference the satellite radio made since it was connected to the surround sound!

Renovations

Other Information
First camp outing at Lake Erie State Park First camp outing at Lake Erie State Park

Tow Vehicle
New 14x7 wheels
Just added these wheels in July, the standard white ones were starting to rust and wheels really make a difference in appearance. I added the Scamp logo to the center cap myself to make it look more like it was standard equipment.
