I employed a professional furniture maker to do the woodwork and installations. The wood is all dark walnut. The Burro interior allowed for more and better use of space than the original designers imagined. We added drawers, chopping board and extended the kitchen work area with a collapsible shelf. All cabinets are fully enclosed with a wood carcass so no fiberglass inside these areas. Added an interior deep cycle battery and some extra lighting. Recovered the cushions in a western/cowboy fabric and added leaping trout motif curtains. Pics will come when I get it out of storage for the winter.
Exterior
The gel coat was dull from sun exposure. We wet sanded (gently) and eventually polished back to a nice shine. All windows were removed and resealed. Part of the floor was rotten. That was cut away and new flooring installed. Removed surface rust and repainted steel frame.
Customization
The interior was reworked by adding more functionality and storage.
