Our main focus was to have a comfortable bed and a dry environment since we had just upgraded from tents. The bed is queen + size with a total of 7 inches of foam , 3 inch mattress pads on top of 4 inch seat cushions. The galley had been gone for years and so we installed storage and a larger fridge. A window had been installed in place of the old fridge vent so we left it. We installed a completely new floor. We made a new table from the wood which was removed from the camper when we gutted it.
Exterior
We installed a small window unit a/c in the front window and replaced the screen wire with new canvas.
Customization
Where the galley was before we installed new storage cabinets and a 30 amp converter with 3 receptacles inside and a 12 v socket. Where the storage and fridge had been we installed a work top and larger fridge with more storage. Since we always cook outside I made a slide-in shelf for our camp stove. We also added a roll-out cooking canopy
Renovations
Because the popup roof had sagged over the years I made some wooden ribs to reshape it so the rain wouldn't puddle on top .
Other Information
Only camped in a few times so far but really enjoy it because I can pull it with my little Subaru and still get pretty decent mileage.
