I've had both, the Max with the integrated cover is sleek, the FF was quieter and used less power. I had the FF 10 years ago so things may have changed. I liked the FF better.

It's a lot more sturdy then the stock 2 leg table, which is the main reason folks go with it. Keep in mind it is not removable like the 2 leg, and for some reason the top is a bit tilted.
