Forrest got the hitch all fabricated and only to find out that the frame was flexing under the load when it was bounced. :-/

It is a straight axle. It is mounted at the level of the dropped frame with extra steel welded into the rear to make it level.
The jeep runs 31s. The Scamp is on 205/75R15...we started with 235s...

As with most older Scamps, the torsion axle was worn out leaving the trailer practically on the ground. For us here at Team 3Up, this was not a workable situation as we love to take the road less...

Someone must have decided the originals needed...
Someone must have decided the originals needed some sprucing up...they traced the original orange and painted the blue. It's sorta cool and unique but the Scamp orange would be nice.
