We have a '96 Bigfoot 17. When we bought it we had an '05 Lexus RX330 which we were using to tow our Scamp 13 footer. Lexus tow capacity is 3500 lbs. Fine for Scamp but not as good for Bigfoot...

We had our (new for us) 17 foot 1996 Gaucho Bigfoot axle flipped (It has a U shaped axle) so that the hitch would not be so low to the ground. There is a whistle like noise coming from both sides...

Calmark is the best but expensive - a little over $500 for a Scamp 13 plus shipping. If you can afford it - get it. They have a 6 year warranty and provide great customer service.
