there should NOT be any rivets on the hinges ! they are bolted on . the hinge should have threads in the holes for 1/4 bolts that install from the inside . good luck !

this trim piece is available from Spaeneur in Kitchener Ont. its about $2 a foot . make sure you get the 1/4 inch wide pieces . tico marine also sells this trim . good luck . regards John
