I bought a used Scamp 19', trying to bring it up to date. I saw a grey water filter on the parts list on the Scamp web site. Mine does not have one, I wondered if I need one and what the purpose.

Silicone caulk problem

I would like to refinish my Scamp, paint or gelcoat. My problem is that someone smeared silicone around every bolt and rivit on it. Anybody suggest a solution.
