I just installed a Houghton 9.5 AC in my Escape 19. I had a friend help me get it onto the roof but I did everything else myself. Not that hard and I'm 78. The unit was a little over $1000, labor $0.

We’re 5 weeks into a 10 week trip. We’ll probably put 6-7 thousand miles on before we get back to Maine. Averaging 14.6 towing an Escape19, probably 4200 pounds loaded.

You're going to love the E19. We'll most likely stay at Bemidji State Park in September on our way out west. Stayed there in 2019 on a similar trip in an Aliner.

I don't believe there is an automobile manufacturer in existence that hasn't had a recall for something. I have not had a recall on my 20019 or 2021 Subaru Ascent.

I have a 2021 Ascent that I use to tow my Escape 19. I’ve probably only towed it about 6000 miles in 2022 but will travel about 16-18,000 miles this year.
