Trillium rock guard won’t open

In the back gaucho or dinette on the floor there are metal pieces instead of Fiberglass.

Sheet metal on back rear well area

Hi!
Me again!
Just wondering if this is normal to have sheet metal on the floor in the rear of the trailer and the mud flaps with the screws going into fibreglass of the trailer are normal as well?

After our discussion I spent more time cleaning and looking around the trailer.
Surprisingly the wood is good under the fridge, see photos.
There are no spongy floor areas,...
