Ilene my 40ft bus had 1/2 in foam glued all over then naugahide glued to that. You can do it yourslelf but beware the 3m glue is stinky and toxic!
a good headliner replacement place can do it...

here is how it was done on my 40f eagle bus they laid down 1/2 pure foam hung up with glue of course. Then they put naugahide elephant skin on top of that.
