Ive looked at those, nice units, but they still need 12 volts for the fan, and the original goal was to eliminate that.

Based on your results, the air circulation adds 10deg C.
Some of those case fans are super quiet, less than 10db, and they only draw .2amps.
Just let the thermal switch cycle it....
