It would be a good idea to find out why the
Scamp tripped the house GFCI. It shouldn't. Typical causes are a bad heating element in the
refrigerator or, if you have one, the electric side of the water heater, or a bad converter.
Again, it is worth fixing the problem. While rare, there are campgrounds that have GFCI's on their 30 amp receptacles (as well as the 15 amp). A couple of Missouri State Parks I've stayed in had them.
