Purchased through a member here a few months back:
1986 Predom / Niewiadów Captain N-132 trailer.
Built in Poland in the 1980's and were shipped to Canada from 1984 thru 1989 and sold here as the Cadet 13' and the larger Captain 15'
(they are still in production there and sold all over Europe)
Mine is in fair overall condition, but needing much work...
Shell OK, many spider cracks and nicks to be repaired, recently started sanding and fiber filling...
Interior cabinets are in great condition, and it even has a toilet room with corner sink and portable cassette toilet (No shower or holding tanks installed)
All cabinets and wall fabric are now removed in order to install a complete new floor, and wall insulation and covering.
Back at it next weekend, too hot to work now...lol
Managed to get the entire cabinets out, lots of wet (not black mold)
and rotted floor, all to be removed in a week or so...going to let it dry up a bit.
Have treated plywood to install, all the dirty glue on the walls still to to removed from the old fabric wall covering. Also changing out the stove and sink with a pair of new Dometic glass covered units.
Will have both hot and cold water via a portable on demand propane water heater, and an outdoor shower, which will be cut into the back side and installed.
Lots to do, and looking forward to a finished Captain, lol...
Removing the glue from the walls won't be easy. I just painted over mine (white). It sure made things a lot more bright and cheery while I'm working on it. It will all get covered eventually anyway.
Hello just wondering how the progress is going? I’m looking for a a cadet or captain. If you see one in the wild or you want to part give me a shout. I’m not far from Toronto

I'm not sure if it's still there but there was one for sale on a small lot in Keswick. The sign simply says "Used RV & Camper Sales - (905) 960-0508". The lot is on the south side of Glenwoods Ave. a few hundred metres east of Woodbine Ave.
Hi there, and yes, correct, it is the bathroom window. with walls in place it has a little sink with taps, and portable cassette toilet, pretty spacious actually.
As the trailer in now out of storage the renos will begin.
I am debating on deleting the bathroom, re-positioning the wall, shrink it down to half it's original size, and install shelves, and extending the front dinette seat on the road side into a couch, still keeping the dinette, but more seating area.
Will post updates as I begin...Thx, Ian
Finally found a place and time to get the exterior refinished...
there are many spider cracks, nicks and small holes to repair,
as the gel coat is in fairly bad condition.
Managed to remove all striping, exterior lights and all windows...
I have all new rubber for all windows, door & tongue box.
Got it all sanded this weekend, fiberglass fill and repairs begin
this week...many challenges, but so far so good!
Hello all, well spent the fall finishing, painting and decals on the exterior, went with a Matte finish smoke grey, black accents...much fiberglass work done. Put new window rubbers/ seals all around and windows back in, the odd size fixed side windows were too brittle, therefore I had a set of tinted 3/8" plexiglass windows made up. Replaced all the exterior lighting with LED, tails and markers (f & r to be installed yet) now on to the interior...
Wow, great job. I hope it goes well with a fridge install. The captain doesn't seem well designed for a "pretty" installation if you go for propane but I'm sure you'll figure it out. The decals are nice too.
I’m at pretty much the same stage as you gutted the whole thing and now I’m getting ready to put everything back together.
One thing I noticed is that with the spider cracks on the roof outside, my ceiling was leaking a bit after a day of rain.So before you install the new wall covering, mix up fiberglas resin with hardener and paint it on the inside over the spider cracks. You can tell where these spider cracks are on the inside by dark spots on the ceiling.
I ripped out the floor and replaced it with 1/2” plywood.
Now I’m ready to put the foam backed vinyl on the ceiling and walls. ( trailer came with a full roll when I bought the trailer) I’m not looking forward to that job as it is going to be tedious.
Exterior, more or less completed... moving on to the interior.
The floor was rotted, front & back, there most was taken out and replaced with a 3/4" treated plywood base. Then covered in a thick vinyl floor covering.
Now installed a few walls and cabinets... followed by the wall covering, which will be a 1/4' rubber/ foam insulation then covered with an RV fabric.
I have changed the bathroom a bit, and made it smaller, taken out the little corner sink, will put a wall of shelves there and a new portable toilet, just in case...!
Just cut the stainless steel counter top, to fit the New Dometic glass covered stove and sink!
Have a few pics and will follow with others ...
